Can you answer my question now please. What alternative did you expect? A British Day of mourning is more likely to be connected to a British issue. This isn't about saying British lives are better then Iraqi lives, it's about grieving for a sizeable murdering that happened to innocent people we are more likely to know. Make your point about the war, not totting up minutes silence for lives scores
