Unfortunately I wasn't there that night. I watched the game on TV in a Copenhagen bar standing next to DT. Mind you, that was the best pub atmosphere I've experienced watching Liverpool.
For me, it has to be St. Etieinne. When Davy ran on to that through-ball from Ray Kennedy the whole Kop surged forward in anticipation and exploded in joy as he beat the keeper. The drama of the early goal, the equaliser by Bartheny and the winner in the last 10 minutes cannot be beaten for drama.
The Brugge game runs it close though, 0-2 and three goals in 5 minutes-a magical night. I feel all nostalgic now.
