some very good points made by ritchie, i think one of the problems at the club has been the appointment of staff,i think in modern football you need to get the best man for each job from manager down to people at the accademy,we now have one of the top managers in europe which is great.
under gh i would question the quality of our scouting system,when you think of some of the shite we bought you have to wonder if anybody went out and scouted and if they did did they have the balls to say to gh that the players he wanted were not good enough. also i dont want anybody to think this is a dig at phil thompson but when gh needed a coach to work with him the board suggested thompson becausce he was a liverpool man ,the fact he had been out of football for 5 years did not seem to matter,to me that sums the board up their heart is in the club but you need brains as well as heart
