I don't mind Doherty.

I don't buy into this "misunderstood genius" bollocks people seem to label him as, but on his day, he's a fantastic songwriter and a very clever lyricist. He's quite an intelligent lad as well.

It's a shame about his addictions, but the biggest tragedy for me was how he became standard tabloid fodder and widely known as "that smackhead who's shagging Kate Moss." He's so much better than that and I can't believe he let himself get dragged to that level.

Saying that though, he needs to pull his finger out because he hasn't done anything decent since The Libs split up. Apart from writing Albion, of course.
