Wallace is a good read. Yes Man was light and really funny in parts, recently read Friends Like These, there not meant to be great books just entertaining when you fancy something light.

Anyway to the point I bought up this thread.

"We" - Yevgeny Zamyatin - great book, was the insiration behind 1984 (and Brave New World although Huxley disputed this despite saying he read it long before) it is so well written I have the Vintage Classics edition which apparently is a new translation of the original. Absolutley fantastic theres a little bit at the start which brings up an interesting point of Freedom without happiness V Happiness without freedom. Really thought provoking. For a book written in 1921 its so relevant today.
