I've just bought a new laptop and set up my internet connection on it, and it works fine with the ethernet connection but I can't get it to work wirelessly. When I scan wireless connections, my SSID comes up and I enter the correct password but it just won't connect.

It says:

Wireless association failed because Windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or access point.

So basically it knows it's there and connects fine when connected by Ethernet, but not wirelessly. Any ideas?

I'm pulling my fucking hair out here...
