We had a (sad) challenge once to see if any of us could get a Bic pen to "run out" before it was lost. This was in the days when offices bought Bic pens, before cutbacks saw offices buying cheap crap pens.

One person managed it, and stuck it to the wall. Next to the post-it note pad that he'd legitimately got down to its last piece, without it being lost.

It seems all the missing pens go to Scandinavia. Is that also where the odd socks go?
