I've said before (that time it was regarding Villa) that forwards are much more comfortable starting centrally and drifting wider than they are starting wide and moving centrally.
Keane's best position would be where Gerrard is currently playing and i'd be loathed to break us the Gerrard/Torres partnership.

I totally disagree. I think Keane thrives on having space. He'll get space off the right or left of Torres where he can make runs, run at defenders, or swap with Gerrard mid-attack.
I think the problem we'd have with Keane is facing 11 men deep and he hasn't the space to exploit.
