There shouldn't really be any colour in the mobile style. You shouldn't have to change your style either, it should be done automatically.
Looks okay on my Blackberry Dave. I can see the banner at the top but I don't see the ads which is handy, and I can see Monty in the top left corner, which I don't see on my pc.

It would be good if you could disable avatars for mobile users as they can cause it to take an age for the page to load, especially the animated ones.
