3G is a mobile only technology for getting onto the interweb (max speed approx 400kbs). Its a bit old school now, and wireless is the way to go, where your maximum speed is only restricted by how many users are connected to the Wireless Access Point, and the speed of the adsl connection itself.

I have unlimited wireless through BT, and I've also signed up for this:

Aaah a little clearer now, cheers Mr Weeeks. Unfortunately I dont have BT (virgin) so I doubt I can join up.
