Thats fair enough, and to be honest if I was not involved to a degree I would probably have the same reservations as yourself as i'm cynical by nature.

All's we can every say is what we've always said, speak to those involved, show up at meeting (obviously not possible for everyone), have a say.

Some of best decisions that have been made have been borne out of constructive criticism's we have received from those inside and outside the union.

I would ask those who are doubtful of SOS to give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise, as it would be unfair to hold them responsible for the mistakes of others that have gone before them.
