Re: Car problem, suggestions required within

I have no idea how old the battery is but the battery never seems to struggle or anything. The starter motor just doesn't kick in. I guess it's probably as old as te car though so maybe 6 years or something?

I was out in it yesterday and I got out the car for something. When I got back in it wouldn't start and i was there for a good 5 minutes trying. Eventually I smacked the ignition area with my manly fist. The car started instantly. I tried it again today though and it pissed itself laughing at me. Luckily I was on a hill though so I just rolled backwards a few feet and jump started it.

As for replacing the ignition, will that have anything to do with the immobilizer? I don't want to go there.
