I'm just over half way through. It's grim as fuck but I agree with those who say it's brilliant. (Unless it's got a Disney ending, in which case I'll use it as 300 sheets of bog roll.)
Before that, I'd just re-read Mark Steel's
Reasons to Be Cheerful, which I'd recommend to everybody, without exception.
