Well then like all these things there are damned lies and statistics. I'm not trying to be deliberately confused here, but how on earth are these things measured then?
If Reina conceded 16 goals from 16 shots on target, is that better or worse than VDS conceding 15 goals from 15 shots on target? And whilst I think about it, how are goals measured? Does JAR's wonderfully-timed header count? What about Fat Frank's deflections? They're almost NEVER on target.
AND, right, surely all goals are on target. I mean you can't save a goal or else it it wouldn't be one. So isn't it better to just count saves? To elaborate; If Reina saves 100 shots and concedes 10, isn't that just 90 saves? And the amount of saves has as much to do with the defending as it does the goalkeeper.
Golden gloves? Load of old bollocks.
