ive just read the first 100 odd pages after meaning to pick it up for a while.
really intrigueing thus far.
people will always have their opinions on clough but he was a fascinating character and even from what i remember of clough and what ive seen in interviews of him, i feel peace has really tapped into certain elements of his personality really well.
i think this style of writing on factual events is rewarding as by taking a certain amount of artistic license it stirs the imagination of the reader.
true history of the kelly gang was done on the same premise.
hopefully, the film version will be made with the same atmosphere.
