I am suprised that Whelan has come out and said this. I think he has said something like this in the past as well. I think that Whelan still on the payroll for the club for things like tours and stuff like that coz I played footy against him as part of some football package where you go on a tour after playing at the academy. If he is still on the payroll, he wont be next season after this outburst.

I am not a Benitez lover myself but after the shite he has to put up with this season and hopefully a much better budget this year(if DIC take over), I hope he gets anoter season.
