Lagerbäck has since then replaced him - we're now playing a 36-year old right-winger as full-back instead. He's nowhere near good, but atleast he's better than Nilsson.

All and all, Nilsson's a very bad footballer who lacks talent but he's especially poor at marking, simple short passes and clearing the ball. In 2004 Southampton, who only recently failed to make the other poor Swedish wing-back (Nilssons precessor) Alexander Östlund a success, bought Nilsson. He got 16 games before declared not good enough for the Championship. Since then this bearded hippie-like midget's been playing for Panathinaikos, although most fans are disappointed over his presence. Nilsson is considered to weak and too slow for the Greek league and it seems like the club are ready to let his contract run out.
But is he better than Degen?
