The thing with Riise is that while he has let us down on occasions, it's hard to hate him because his effort's never been the problem. We're one of the biggest clubs in the entire world. Almost any player would sign for us given the choice and if they put the effort in then how can you hate them? They're doing their best for the club.

Diouf was a cunt though and loads of players from the Evans and Souness eras were dreadful. Can't bring myself to hate the likes of Diao or Cheyrou. They weren't very good, but they tried.
