Rijkaard isn't a manager he's a coach.
The management are still in place and still building, infact they're rebuilding after version 1 showed it lacked the ability to sustain dominance for longer than two seasons as the players imploded.
It's a simple case of inserting a new coach into the position (Guardiola in this case) and continuing the work.
Wenger, Ferguson, Benitez are all managers.
