He's a player with a decent brain football wise and if he can carry that into coaching he could be a future manager for us. In fact how he deals personally with the ownership situation is a big clue to how he'd be as a manager. Standing up to owners without going too far is a difficult balance.

What I'd hate, and I bet he would too, is a situation where he was being picked every week because he's a good red, rather than a good player. He's only 31, so we should be a few years off that yet, but I hope when the time comes it's recognised, and accepted by us too.
