Karl. That is possibly the single most stupid question that I have ever read on here, for reasons that will become obvious when you play it. Especially for the intelligent gamer with an attention span sufficient to engage with the storyline, it's a truly remarkable game. In my all-time, any platform top three along with the original
UFO: Enemy Unknown and
Hired Guns, both on the Amiga.
Yes the graphics do look dated these days but the gameplay has rarely been approached since in my opinion.
(Edit) It's not a sprint and slaughter FPS game at all, although you can play it like that if you want. It's really all things to all men.
iirc there are only two characters in the entire game that you actually have to kill. I've played though it killing about ten in total and I've also played through it slaughtering every living thing. Stealth is a big feature but you can use it to avoid conflict, or to instigate it. Although the storyline drives the game, it's extremely free form in the way you go about completing it - you have a number of ways of completing almost every goal and the system of modifying your character and the upgrading weapons give an incredible amount of flexibility to your strategy.
