I use torrents all the time mate, theyre fucking ace. You use a torrent program like utorrent or bittorrent to open .torrent files which you download from the internet from sites like btjunkie.com. I use btjunkie.com for films because you get comments on quality etc so you know when the copy is too shit to watch torrentlocomotive.com is good for programs/games minninova.com is another. You find the torrent file you want to download from one of the sites and open it (or d.load it if you want to keep the .torrent file but theres no point) then utorrent or bittorrent whichever you use, will download parts of that file from all the people who have downloaded that file before and are seeding it (allowing others to download it from them). The more seeders the file has the faster it will download (in general). Happy downloading mate. By the way, it is illegal to download any copyrighted material from the internet, but fuck it, they wont prosecute you unless you do it on a massive scale and sell the films.
