People who say Fosters is cheaper - it isn't necessarily. In like for like quantity it is cheaper but for actual amount of alcohol you consume, Premium beers tend to be better value.

Example: Fosters Beer might cost £2.20 and Premium beer £2.50. Fosters is aboot 4% and Premium aboot 5%. That's 25% more Alcohol for 30p more, with the advantage of actually tasting nice.
