Re: DIC: takeover thread

Theres lots going off behind the scenes that no-one knows at this moment who will be the owner come the start of the season.

This is the reason you get respected members on other forums declaring that Hicks had sold the club because there are that many conflicting stories out there at the moment its hard to know whats what.

I do know that representives of DIC will be holding conversations with at least one of the owners which i presume will be Hicks but whether or not the conversation turns out to be positive only time will tell.

Hicks without doubt is under pressure to sell as the credit crunch is showing no signs of letting up and the people who have loaned Hicks money for his other dealings are getting a little worried because they know that at the moment DIC want to buy Liverpool but for how much longer.

Hicks currently has a deal on the table from DIC but that isnt an infinite offer and the patience of the Sheikh and DIC is wearing thin.

The problem from the banks point of view is if DIC walk away then Hicks is fucked because they is seemingly only one interested party.

Hicks has loans which are expiring very soon, where he is going to get the money from who knows but the easiest way is to sell Liverpool and the banks know this hence them putting pressure on him.
