I'm beginning to think that I don't want them anywhere near the club, just like I don't want Gillett and Hicks anywhere near the club. Regardless of whether this Mourinho story is true, they have been spinning everywhere. Fuck off you twats.
Dirk, its a bit rich coming to the conclusion that they are twats who should fuck off, and you "dont want them anywhere near the club", based on a newspaper story whose veracity you have no clue about. You don't even know which side's professional liars (aka PR consultants) planted that story. Or even considered its timing (whats Liverpools next game again?).

If you all know that there is a PR war being waged by all sides. And you know that professional liars (oops, sorry, PR consultants) have been hired by all sides. Then, why the heck are you all getting your knickers into a twist over every story?.

You're like children, with a dandelion in your hand. Puffing away. "She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me ...."

Hostile takeovers are always conducted this way. Misinformation, shifting positions behind the scenes. Closely holding your legal cards to your chest (eg: the exact nature of the "1st option" clause between Hicks and Gillette). This is just standard operating procedure.

The only real difference here is that the sporting journalists are the ones doing most of the coverage on this takeover battle. They have a much more simplistic view of financial matters, and are more easily led up the garden path than their more seasoned counterparts in the financial press.

Did you think the normal rules of business suspended themselves for a small-to-medium sized investment like LFC (because face it, thats what we are)?
