Its fairly clear that Rafa has made some great signings and some pretty poor ones.

However when he has spent top dollar in Mascher, Pepe, Xabi & Nando he has got top quality.

The only real stick you can beat him with is his desire to buy squad players rather than quality ie he could have bought a Mancini instead of Babel & Benayoun and Alves instead of Pennant & Kuyt or Bellamy.

The bottom line is the team is in much better shape than the one he inherited when he arrived, just hope he buys a quality wide player this summer
