As I said, his improved attitude has been genuinely impressive of late and he's put in some decent performances. My point was an entirely pragmatic one as I'm not blown away by anyone I mentioned. I just think he's a relatively saleable asset and as such we should sell if that means getting a first team player. And as for this mythical winger, you're talking to the wrong person - I want to see attacking fullbacks with the budget we've got.

I'm not arguing that his goalscoring record overall has been great, but I do believe that all players can improve with the right coaching. He might get 5-10 goals a season with 30 starts, I reckon. Maybe he'll never be a 15 goal a season player, but then not many wingers are. He's more of a creative player - he makes things happen when he comes on the pitch and makes space for others. I think he'd flourish if played regularly in a 4-4-2.
