A person's title doesn't affect the speed with which they do business, so a sporting director won't automatically work quicker or better than a manager, CEO or any other title you care to name.

I can only imagine your absolute delight followed by absolute disgust if we appointed one of the better sporting directors like Monchi and he replicated the formula he uses here signing unkown players from the far reaches of the Brazilian league like Bahia.

Oh and isn't this the same sporting director that signed Ricardo Rocha, Temu Taino, Malbranque, and a host of other mediocre players many in positions they didn't need while ignoring positions like left wing as well as the good likes Berbatov?
