But after that, we'll forget about it for 90 minutes and thinking ONLY about Moscow!

That's ridiculous. I can't believe there people on here who are comparing Hillsborough or any other disaster to someone losing a parent through illness.
The death of Frank Lampard's Mum is tragic to him and his family and I genuinely sympathise, but things like this happen every day just like it did to Dirk Kuyt, Titi Camara and Rafa Benitez. Disasters such as Hillsborough don't.
What happened at Hillsborough had a profound effect on the club, the city and football in general and whether some people like it or not the death of Lampard's mother or the death of a.n. other's mother/father pales into insignifcance in comparison. Let's have a bit of perspective please.
If there's a minutes silence, which I doubt there will be, then it should be respected but to suggest singing a song or taking a banner is just way over the top.
And as for making up for a couple of fans singing songs about his Ma the other day, do me a fucking favour. Are the Chelsea fans going to sing songs apologising for the Murderers chants or take a banner in support of the Justice Campaign? No is the answer to that and I wouldn't expect them to either.
