The fella who was tackled never played again. Of course everyone has seen worse, but does it mean we should accept potentially career ending tackles like that one? I say he got exactly what he deserved.
Btw, he got 6 months but he didn't have to do his time. I don't know what it's called in English-English but I think it's what the Americans call probation.
