I was going to hang fire on this until tomorrow morning, but sorry, that was not acceptable for a professional defender. It's about 18 inches off the fucking floor for fuck's sake, you don't head that ball you welly it, no right foot notwithstanding.

Having said that some of the comments on this thread are way over the top. I'm extremely angry with Riise, but some of that is uncalled for; he's still a Liverpool player and the team can and will rise above that mistake.
