However, if the players can start to play at their peak in every game, regardless of the opposition or level of rotation, then we'll be a much improved side next season. The Arsenal league game really impressed me with the way a make-shift side played so well and got a good result. However, raising your game against the best in a high-stakes match is no measure. Doing it against relegation fodder when there's less to play for (like today) is more encouraging.

We started very poorly Paul but picked the game up after about 15-20 minutes and in all fairness if we picked the gears up we could hammer these.
Again no-one has really stood out, except possibly Pennant who is having a good game on the right.
Players like Voronin, Lucas, Benayoun and Mascherano are doing decent but are capable of more.
Crouch is linking up alright but i always find myself watching and except more of him.
