They've been looking for some way of jumping on the capital of culture bandwagon and this is it.

"80 years since Dixies achievement".

I don't remember a 50th year celebration or a 75th year celebration, is 80 so special?Maybe not but it allows them to promote the club in the capital of culture year, bless them.
