I reckon 99% did. The first press conference they gave and the positive PR coming from them gave me no reason to doubt that they would drag us in to the modern age. They charmed the fuck out of everyone with their "custodian" comments, saying if rafa wanted "snoogy doogy" theyd buy him. Bullshit we now know, but at the time i, and i think the vast majority, believed them.

And i know Moores benefited amazingly financially from the deal. But its also clear despite his flaws, that he is a fan. I know if i was in his position now, it would kill me. I genuinelly dont think its all down to money with him.
