LIVERPOOL FC life president David Moores has opened his heart to the ECHO to tell of his personal devastation at the crisis engulfing Anfield.
In a rare interview, to be published in Saturday's ECHO, the former club owner spoke of his heartbreak over the civil war between co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
Moores sold the club to the Americans little over a year ago, having rebuffed Dubai International Capital, who were originally lined up to buy the club.
The Americans have fallen out over a series of controversies, with Dallas-based Hicks now having called for the resignation of chief executive Rick Parry, with whom Moores worked closely for almost a decade.
