I didn't mean in his comments after the match, there was just something about the not liking China because "
they don't speak English" comment that made me think of blokes with knotted hankies on their heads wearing Union Jack/bulldog t-shirts whilst eating full English breakfasts outside a pub in Spain.
It's an entirely factual statement though. Perhaps I'm adding a level of interpretation to it that it doesn't need. Many people I've met (especially from the older age group) that make similar observations really mean something along the lines of "
I don't like darkies" but I have no specific reason to think Ronnie thinks along those err... lines.
