The death threats. He has taken them so seriously that he has now decided that for fear of his life he can't sell one share to Hicks. If 101 conditions were met by Hicks with regards finance, apologies, letting his sons take over instead of him and so on, he could gain some acceptance perhaps. Don't get me wrong, the 101 conditions aren't going to be easy to meet, if even possible. But Gillett is the biggest (but shortest) snake of the two.
