Me and Mrs Jnp have decided to turn it into a little back packing adventure whilst we're over there. We're over their for two weeks and have already made plans to stay in Bangkok for a few days for the stag/hen do's before heading out to Koh Samui for the wedding. After the wedding we're going to have over a week to Island hop and see as much as possible.

I just need some advice from people who've been over there, not sure if we have any Thai's on here too? We're not looking at heading back to the mainland until a day or two before we're due to fly back to the UK so what are the best things to see close to Koh Samui?.

I think we're due to attend a full-moon beach party and we're also going to see the Big Buddha statue. Anything more we should be going to see?
I havent actually been to Thailand, but i have been to Malaysia a lot and if you can get a decent flight to Langkawi , an island of northern Malaysia you should go. It is beautiful.
