Evertonians have a completely irrational hatred for Newcastle though, I think it's because Newcastle are seen by many as being bigger than them ( loads of players have turned down Everton to sign for Newcastle and it really grates with them)

That could be the reason Dave, when Souness was in charge, every player the shite went for the Geordies seemed to go for, and most of them picked the Geordies.
