The Fed has just announced a massive cut in US interest rates. The Bank of Engaln and European central Bank are both injecting billions of pounds \ euros into the banking system.
Yes, things could be as tough as they are now in 18 months time but its highly unlikely. A more likely scenario is the credit squeeze has passed but left some casualties in 6 to 12 months or have gone away completely.

Dude, it's all about confidence and there is none now and won't be for a good while yet, 2 or 3 years chap at least.
