If we continue to play the current system we don't have room for another forward, and we would be better off buying a player Torres can play off such as Diego or Aguero....
However playing the current system we are so reliant on Torres it is scary, one injury to him and we're fucked.... Playing the current system I mean!! The only two other players in the world who I can see do what he does on their own is Drogba and Adebayor, and let's face it they will not come here to sit on the bench...
The dilemma then is that we cannot buy a world class back-up for Torres, which leaves us vunerable if he get's injured...
Buy Villa and we have the firepower to play with two forwards, both with great mobility and pace, any defense will shit their pants playing them... It would mean breaking up a system that works very well for us, and also requires world class wingers, but it leaves us less vunerable.....
Nightmare scenario, Everton understands how dependent we are on Torres, singles him out and puts him out for the season, and that's us fucked for the Champions League and the fourth place in the Premier League.....
