Re: DIC, final offer?
Email sent by me to Tom Hicks:
Mr Hicks,
I write to you as a passionate Kopite. I please ask you to seriously consider the offer tabled by DIC and sell the football club.
You have stated many times that you want a successful football club, and in my opinion there is only one way to measure success and that is the happiness and morale of the fans. Unfortunately with yourself and Mr Gillett at the helm we will never be happy with the state of our club. Too many bridges have been burnt. Therefore your dream of a successful Liverpool with you at the helm will never occur.
Sincerely yours,
Christopher John
Hicks reply:
I respectfully diasagree.
The problem with the Club is the way it has been run for the past 10 years.
My reply:
I respect you have taken the time out to reply, but my point that if you judge a clubs success by the happiness of its fans then you still cannot ever be successful.
And if it is the previous 10 years running of the club that is the issue, why is the key player from that period, namely Mr Rick Parry still on the payroll?
Regards,
Christopher John
Hicks reply:
Because thats the deal Gillett made.
It will be fixed.
