Liverpool restaurants rated/slated

What is everyone's opinions on the standard of eateries in Liverpool at the moment?. They didn't get a great review in some national guide that was printed the other week. Me and the missus went to Mayur in Duke Street last night, nice interior, service etc but the food was very expensive for what it was. What is everyone's favourite/least favourite place to eat out in Liverpool?

The past year or so I've been to and liked:

Negresco (Lark Lane)
Meet (Argentinian)
Meet (Brazilian)
Il Forno
Algarve (Portuguese)
Cafe Sports England
Casa Italia
La Vina
The Living Room
Gate of India in Waterloo - stays open forever

Didn't like:

Baccos
The Italian place at the top of Stanley Street (not Casa Italia)
The Tavern - full of scalls
Blue Bar - useless service
Savina (Mexican) - about 2 things on the menu
